What is Poshy?

Poshy Hair Essentials is the only luxury hair tool rental service that lets you experiment with the latest hair styles and trends by renting the newest, high-quality styling tools without having to break the bank. We offer flat irons, blow dryers, wands, and other styling tools from top brands including but not limited to Dyson, GHD, Babyliss, Drybar, T3, and Amika for a fraction of their original cost.


How does Poshy work?

Step 1: Create a Poshy account

Step 2: Choose your styling tool(s)

Step 3: Reserve your item(s) by selecting the date you want your styling tool to arrive, as well as how long you would like to rent the tool. (We recommend the arrival date be 1-2 days before the date you need to use it). 

Step 4: Wait for your tool to be delivered in just a few short days. 

Step 5: Enjoy trying out your new tool in the comfort of your own home, as you style your hair as you normally do or try out something new and different.

Step 6: Return your styling tool for free in the same box using the included pre-paid label.


How are the tools cleaned?

All styling tools are inspected, cleaned, and sanitized between rentals as your health and safety is a top priority for us.  After visually inspecting the tool, we use a gentle anti-microbial soap and rubbing alcohol to disinfect and sanitize. For our hair dryers, all vents are cleaned and sanitized.


What are the rental periods?

We offer 4 and 8 day rentals.


Can I extend my rental period?

At this time, we are unable to automatically extend the rental period without first confirming whether a customer is waiting for the same Poshy tool. If you wish to extend your rental period, please email us and we can confirm whether a rental extension is available for your tool. 


How often are new tools made available to rent?

New tools are released as products are launched from top brands. But please also let us know what you’d like to see and we’ll do everything possible to make it happen as quickly as we can.


Are the hair styling tools authentic?

Absolutely! We purchase each Poshy tool directly from the manufacturer, distributor, approved third party retailer or beauty supply store. Each tool in our inventory has its own serial number to confirm authenticity.


Placing an order

How do I reserve my Poshy rental?

Visit us at www.poshyhairessentials.com and simply chose your Poshy tool, the length of time you would like to keep your Poshy tool and the date by which you want your Poshy tool to arrive (we recommend booking your tool 1 week before your desired tool arrival date and schedule the arrival 1-2 days before you need to use it) and proceed to checkout.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept Visa, Amex, Mastercard, PayPal, and Venmo.


When will my card be charged?

You will be charged at the time you reserve your styling tool and complete your order. If you extend your rental or decide to buy the item, you will be charged on the same payment method used on the initial order. 


Shipping & Returns

How do I return my styling tool?

When you’re done slaying with your Poshy styling tool, simply return the item in the same box it arrived in using the pre-paid label that was included in the shipment. Please review the label to determine whether you should drop it off at UPS or USPS. 


How much is shipping?

Free shipping with all styling tools and free delivery on select tools (RevAir).

What if I miss my return deadline? How are Poshy late fees billed?

If you do not return one or more products on the end date of your rental period, you hereby authorize Poshy Hair Essentials to charge your payment method non-refundable late fees for up to the full original retail or comparable value of the item. Please see your confirmation email for the item return date and the current late fees charged for each day that an item is not returned.

If you are charged by Poshy Hair Essentials, and pay the Maximum Late Fee for an item, you are permitted to retain the item. Each of which will be charged separately from, and in addition to, any late fees. Payment of any late fees does not excuse your breach of these Terms.

Can I keep it longer?

We are excited you’re enjoying your Poshy tool! If you would like to extend your rental period, please email us to request an extension at least one day before the return due date as it depends on whether another customer has reserved the tool. If we are able to grant the extension, you will be notified within 24 hours of receiving your request. 

If I love my styling tool, can I buy it? How much will it cost?

Currently we are unable to offer a purchase option but we are working on it! Make sure to sign up to our newsletter to learn about when this and other new offers become available on Poshy!

What if my delivery is late?

If your delivery is late, your order will be prorated from the actual delivery date. Please return the styling tool by the new return due date using the shipping method listed on the pre-paid label.

What if I receive an item that doesn’t work?

If the styling tool is not working as expected, please let us know as soon as possible. You will be refunded for the rental and the tool will be repaired upon its return or removed from circulation. Please note that all tools are inspected before being shipped.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes at this time.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. You may cancel your order anytime before it is shipped for delivery.

What if I lose or damage my styling tool?

No worries! We offer the option to purchase insurance with every order to protect from minor damages. In the event of lost or stolen tools, we will use the payment method on file to charge for the full retail cost of the styling tool. 

What if I lose my label?

If you misplace your pre-paid label, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may email you a replacement label. Please note that the item is still required to be returned on the scheduled returned date.


Can I track my order/shipment?

Yes. Once you’ve placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation of the order and a second email once your item has shipped. Please use the link included in your order confirmation to track your delivery.


When does Poshy launch?
